Current Nfl Mvp Odds
The odds to win the World Series is the most talked about future bet leading up to the new season. However, it’s not the only one worth paying attention to.
One of my favorites is the regular season win totals. Oddsmakers set a number of wins for each team and you can bet on them to go over or under that mark.
You can also bet on who will take home the Most Valuable Player in each league or who will take home the Cy Young award.
Today I’m going to focus on the MVP betting odds for both the American League and National League.
Current Odds to win 2018 National League MVP Award
There’s so many talented young players in the National League that it’s nearly impossible trying to predict who will win this award in March. Last year Milwaukee’s Christian Yelich received 29 of 30 place votes to take home the hardware over runner-up Javier Baez.
The crazy thing is that neither Yelich or Baez even had odds to win the award before the season started.

2019 Mlb Mvp Betting Odds Ncaa Basketball
As was the case a year ago, the odds on favorite to win the NL MVP is Byrce Harper, expect this time Harper will try to win the award as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Harper is currently listed at +600, which is just slightly ahead of the likes of Nolan Arenado (+800), Kris Bryant (+1000) and Cardinals new first baseman Paul Goldschmidt (+1200).
Not too far back you got another prized free agent in Padres’ slugger Manny Machado, who is tied with Yelich at +1600. After that you have Freddie Freeman, Rhys Hoskins, Javier Baez, Ronald Acuna Jr, and Eugenio Suarez all at +2000.
As far as sleepers are concerned, hard to not like the value with Anthony Rizzo at +2500 or even Justin Turner at +3000. However, one of my favorite long shots is Nationals shortstop Trea Turner all the way back at +6000.
Updated American League MVP Betting Odds & Favorites to Win
Any time Mike Trout doesn’t win the AL MVP I think it comes as surprise, though Trout has failed to win the award each of the last three seasons. He’s never finished outside of the Top 5 in voting and only once has he finished worse than runner-up.
Last year was one of the seasons where he came in second, as Boston’s young phenom Mookie Betts won going away. Betts received 28 of the 30 first place votes. The other two going to Trout and fellow Red Sox J.D. Martinez.

No surprise that the oddsmakers have made Trout the overwhelming favorite to win it all at +150. Regardless if Trout wins or not, I just don’t see the value in betting him at that price. Sure he’s likely going to be in the mix, but you can get better odds than that on a daily basis in the MLB.
Betts who is also likely to be in the mix has the next best odds at +550. The only other player with odds of 10 to 1 or better is Aaron Judge at +700.
Not to far behind the top 3 are Alex Bregman (+1400), Jose Ramirez (+1500), Carlos Correa (+1800), Francisco Lindor (+2000), Giancarlo Stanton (+2500), Jose Altuve (+2500) and J.D. Martinez (+3000). I think all of these guys have a legit shot and I really like the value that Stanton, Altuve and Martinez are showing.
