WWE TLC 2019: 5 last-minute rumors you should know - 9-time Champion to return, huge title change planned for main event The final PPV of the year looks good on paper Shruti Sadbhav FOLLOW. Somehow, WWE decided that the best way to continue the feud between Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan was to book The Miz in a non-title match at TLC. There is a good chance this has no justification to it.
TLC 2019: WHO WILL BE IN THE MAIN EVENT THIS YEAR?
TLC is one of the popular annual eye-catching novelty shows hosted by the WWE. Since its introduction in 2009, TLC has always been included in the PPV calendar for each year. The forthcoming edition is going to be the last pay-per-view for the year 2019 and so many upgrades have been done to set up the matches and storyline heading into the event. Enough time has been given to intensify the build-up and make it solid enough, unlike some PPVs hosted in the last few months. This practically means that we are set to have one of the best events of 2019 to close out the year. With the first ever Women’s TLC Tag Team Match, a ‘Dog Collar’ match featuring Roman Reigns and so many more championship matches, we could indeed have on our hands one of the strongest match cards in the second half of 2019.
Just like every other main event, TLC 2019 is open to a lot of predictions and debate by fans. Hence, the thrilling sensation surrounding the event increases with each passing day. Residents of NJ and PA can use betting apps to have some fun by predicting the outcome of the high profiled matches.
Match Card of TLC 2019
It is no longer news that the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota is the host venue for TLC 2019 slated for December 15th. The main event will witness the first ever Women’s TLC Tag Team Match with Kairi Sane and Asuka defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, the current RAW Women’s Champion, Roman Reigns vs. King Baron Corbin in a TLC match, and Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley in a singles match.
In spite of the viral advertising sent by WWE to the arena, the stipulation for Reigns vs. Corbin may eventually be changed because it has not been finalized. A Dog Collar match is also being discussed by the WWE officials and this could be a massive attraction for the audience who have never witnessed such an eye-catching novelty for a while.
Concerning the match card for WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view that is slated for the 24th of November at Allstate Arena near Chicago, the match between Rusev and Lashley was moved from there to TLC due to the feeling that the show looks already overloaded. The 15-person Elimination Matches between WWE Smackdown, RAW and NXT teams would, in theory have to go 11 to 15 falls each, with some quick eliminations. Present plans are for Rusev vs. Lashley to be a non-stipulation match at TLC. While there have been rumors as to changes in the stipulation for Reigns vs. Corbin at TLC, the three advertised matches are set to be the main matches of the show.
No information has been gotten yet on the participants representing Team NXT men’s Triple Threat. Team Smackdown will feature Shorty G, Roman Reigns, Mustafa Ali, King Baron Corbin, and Ali and Braun Strowman G may lose their places to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on Friday’s Smackdown as they slug it out in a tag team match with their places on the line, while Team RAW will feature Kevins Owens, Seth Rollins, Ricochet, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre.
Dog Collar Match Rules
In a Dog Collared Match, the opponents will get attached to each other via dog collars while wrestling. It prevents them from getting separated during the course of the match.
Submissions and normal pinfall counts to announce the match outcome, it is also another way of gaining the win. The superstars can also consecutively touch the four corners of the ring to be proclaimed as the winner.
